The District has 15 wells which range from 234 to 1500 feet deep. We have begun the administrative procedures to drill our next deep well. The District has 4.1 million gallons of storage that provides fire protection and equalization. We have begun working towards acquiring the property for the next storage tank, which will have 1 million gallons or more. The water crew consists of seven men and women who maintain 105 miles of water mains and several pump stations. The water pumps and reservoirs are controlled by a computerized SCADA system that controls the pumps by monitoring water elevations and pressures. |
