Unit Charge

A unit charge for each building unit served shall be assessed monthly for multifamily and commercial classess. No water usage is included in the unit charge.

Commodity Charge

In addition to the flat rate and unit charge, a commodity charge per 100 cubic feet for all water consumed shall be imposed.

Ready to Serve Charge

Each lot for which a binding commitment for water availability has been issued and each lot for which a water service has been set but is not currently taking water will be charged a Ready to Serve Charge of $6.40.

Any charge which becomes delinquent must be paid before service is restored to active service.

Snow-Bird Accounts

Customers who own property that will be vacant for four (4) months or more may request a Ready-to-Serve Charge.

• To qualify for a reduced flat rate, a customer must apply in writing to the District Office, be absent from the qualifying residence for a period of not less that four months, and sign a statement that he/she has read and understand the policy for receiving a reduced flat rate.
• Any customer who returns to active service status prior to four months absence will be charged the full flat rate from the time of the change to the reduced rate and in addition willl be charged a $50.00 service fee.
• Water service to the residence will be shut off and locked at the meter upon approval. Reconnecting of service by other than District personnelo will be subject to a tampering charge.
  

Discontinuation of Service

If a property is demolished or destroyed, the property owner may request a discontinuation of water service. The District will remove the water meter and cease billing the affected structure for monthly serivce. If the service is discontinued for two years or more all rights and fees will be forfeited.

Out of District Rate

Charges for customers outside the District boundaries shall be 150% of the charges for customers within the District boundaries.
